A beautiful family home, with ocean views, located in Wellington's Paekakariki took out the title of best Residential New Home between 150sqm-300sqm at the recent ADNZ | Resene Architectural Design Awards. Designed by Ben Gilpin of Gil-Plans Architecture, the project is the perfect example of how a challenging and unique site can bring out the best in a designer.

An historic villa crying out for a restoration was granted its wish in a big way when it was transformed by Aaron Guerin of LAD Architecture. Converted into a grand and beautifully presented home, the villa has been given a new lease on life. In addition, it has provided Aaron Guerin with his first National ADNZ | Resene Architectural Design Award Winner title.
