The first of his three seminars is to be held in Auckland on 29 of February, followed by talks in Wellington (2 March) and Christchurch (4 March).
Lead of the architecture, landscape, interiors and brand office in Snøhetta in Oslo, Kjetil co-founded the multidisciplinary architectural practice in 1987. Since its creation, Kjetil and his practice have been awarded numerous honours including the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2004, Commander of The Royal Norwegian Order of St.Olav in 2008 and an International Fellowship Honor from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
Metro Performance Glass Marketing Manager, Mike Stanford, said that the Kjetil seminar will be an inspirational evening that absolutely cannot be missed.
"Kjetil will inspire all those who attend the lectures and, more importantly, challenge architectural designers to look again at their creative approach to see how they can deliver even more beautiful buildings."
"At Metro Performance Glass we pride ourselves on innovation, a strong product line-up and strive for exceptional delivery. We have used the same strategy in choosing suitable architects to speak in New Zealand on architects and architecture practices. Of equal crucial importance is the fact that any speaker selected by us must have a significant international reputation, with buildings that are re-defining architecture around the world, Kjetil certainly meets the brief” said Mike.
